Lovell pronunciation (LUV- elle).

With a name like Lovell, how could I not be drawn to an industry that radiates love?

I’ve always had a strong passion for the bridal industry. Even when I was just five years old, I knew weddings were something so rare and special to come by that I asked for my fifth birthday party to be bridal themed. I also learned how to sew at a young age, which further ignited my love for design and fashion.

I carried these passions with me into college and majored in textile and apparel management at the University of Missouri. While there, I became fascinated with the intricacies and construction of garments. I knew then that I wanted to pursue a career in fashion design.

But it wasn’t until I interned with bridal designer Hayley Paige in her NYC design studio that I felt I truly found my calling. The bridal industry really spoke to me. I was captivated by the process, the grandeur, and the meaning behind it all. Weddings are such a special time in people’s lives and it is so incredible to be a part of their journey.

Lovellfaye started as a bespoke designer for all areas of the wedding industry, including brides, mothers, guests, and flower girls. The business has grown tremendously since discovering an untapped market in the bridal industry – reconstructing heirloom wedding dresses to fit the modern-day bride. It is an honor to be a part of each bride’s wedding by bringing their heirloom dress dreams to life.

Over the past five years working in the bridal industry, I’ve worked with hundreds of wedding dresses spanning six decades in age. I’ve seen so many beautiful styles of wedding dresses across generations. I’ve worked with clients from Los Angeles to Miami, and I spent 2023 building a robust clientele in New York City.

My work with reconstructed wedding gowns has been featured in top local and national publications like Good Morning America, The Knot, D Weddings, Southern Bride, Carats & Cake and more.
