“I played dress up with my mom’s wedding dress growing up and I knew I wanted to wear it in some way at my wedding. It was in storage for years and got major water damage due to a flood in our storage unit. I totally thought I would only be able to create a headband with the lace from her veil but Lovell convinced me we could use the entire dress for a full bridal look. I also wanted to create meaningful wedding gifts for my parents, so we made a handkerchief for my dad and a small purse for my mom, all from her wedding dress!”
